Johnny Nelson named ambassador for Sheffield Hospitals Charity

12 01 2021

British boxing legend Johnny Nelson has been named an ambassador for Sheffield Hospitals Charity, and fronts the organisation's Bring It On 2021 challenge, asking people to take on a '21 themed' challenge, such as running 21 miles or baking 21 cakes throughout January and February, to raise funds for local hospitals, staff and patients.

The Sky Sports pundit, the longest reigning world cruiserweight champion of all time, said of his appointment 'I am over the moon to be asked to be an ambassador for Sheffield Hospitals Charity. I’ve seen first-hand some of the amazing work that they've done over the years to support our community, none more so than throughout the pandemic. Our hospitals in Sheffield deserve all the appreciation in the world, and what the charity does to support them is amazing'.
